After watching the documentary Inside North Korea, what comparisons can you make between the North Korean government and the Capitol of Panem in the Hunger Games?
They are similar because just like all of the districts are fenced in so is North Korea, they cannot leave and people from South Korea can't enter into North Korea. Even though the rest of the country is poor Kim Jong Il has imported limos and expensive liquor and the capitol in The Hunger Games is fancy and they get there food delivered to them.
they are similar because north korea & the districts are both dystopian places, & the people dream of livin in a utopian place. they both have a capitol, they both have a fence/wall . they both have a leader .
North Korea has a lot of similarities with Panem the people kinda live the same the government is similar. The people in Panem and North Korea really have no rights at all. In Panem if they say something wrong they get their tongue cut out, or if they steal something they get publicly executed or something harmful. They can’t leave their district, they have a low supply on food, and they only get 2 to 3 hours of electricity. In North Korea its similar no one can come into the country no one can leave the country. Everyone must respect and praise their leader.
The North Korean government and the capitol of Panems are alike because they both have strict governments. These two places both have no freedom of speech they are not allowed to say what they want about the government, in fact these two places have no freedom at all. There are DMZ's around the places. There both ruled by a dictator. These places have a lot in common but they are both very different to.
The Comparisons between the North Korea Government and the Capitol of Panem in the Hunger Games Are, in part’s they are nice and kept well. Also, North Korea and The Capitol of Panem have leaders, or head government .They are both rich and protected, in other places of it are dirty or struggling. If Someone Does Something Wrong They Will Be Punished such as possible death. They both have fences around them to protect the people of their district or country.
Both Capitol of Panem and North Korea of them think they have a upotopia. You cannot talk bad about the leader or you will get killed or be in prison. They both Capitol of Panem and North Korea worship their leader as a god.Since they bothCapitol of Panem and North Korea think they are indpendent say we do'nt need anybody. Both Capitol of Panem and North Korea have a Dictatorship. Both Capitol of Panem and North Korea have Only one person leads it all.
I agree with you, because they should not be allowed to kill or place you in prison just for something that little I mean I would run not knowing if they were going to shoot me or not. I would probably make sure I'm armed first before I tried to run
I can make a few comparisons of Panem and North Korea: The government of Panem controls what everyone eats. There are no cell phones, internet, etc. I would hate no being able to have a cell phone or be able to check my email to know if a VERY important email has come to notify me instructions. Once again “I’m glad I live where I live and not in Panem or North Korea”
Like there both fenced in to protect their people. Also, they have low food supplies. North Korea and the Capitol of Panem are both protected and rich but, in the lower part’s their poor and struggling. They have leaders or head of the government. They both have unlimited food The North Korea Government and the Capitol of Panem in the hunger games are similar in many ways.
After watching the documentary inside North Korea, I see some comparisons with in the Capital of Panem and North Korea. Some would be, the people of both sides can't leave their districts or homes. Both would also say they're not allowed to speak about government issues in a negative way. North Korea just like the Capital of Panem, has so much control over the people of both places. No one is allowed to leave or transfer from both countries.
North Korean government and the capitol of Panem are a like because they both have fences around the country of North Korea just like Panem with its district.
The comparisons can I make between the North Korean government and the Capitol of Panem in the Hunger Games is they both are ruled by a dictator.Another reason they are similar is the electic fences to prevent people from leaving and if you do you are most likely put to death or forced to work for the government as slave-type people. They are also similar because if you speak bad about the government you would be put to death or put in jail. Also, they don't care if their people starve to death and at the same time their leaders get everything they want, all the money, food, water, riches, ect. Lastly, they don't allow people electricty and electronics for a long period of time, if at all.
The electric fence around North Korea is called DMZ meaning DeMilitarized Zone, an area from which warring parties agree to remove their military forces.
Well in the capitol of Panem they have unlimited care and people do not have to worry about war and everyone can relax in peace and quiet. But in North Korea they do not have great care and they are isolated from the rest of the world and in Panem when the hunger games happen the entire world watches the game go on like nobody in Panem has a choice. In North Korea they have to obey the dictators every command and when they are supposed bow down they need to and the people in North Korea they like the way they live but in panem the people who live faraway from the capitol like district 12 they hate it because of poor living conditions and health care or help.
